Busy Day!

Geez, I haven't been home in like a long time...Anyway let's see. Last night I could so not fall asleep. I don't know why. I was tired but no ZzZ. Grr. Then I woke up at 9:30 am because everyone gets mad at me because I sleep in until 1 pm. So I set up my PS2 in my room cuz that's fun. Then I worked on my outline of the introduction of the art history book. BORING. Ha. Oh well I have to do it. Then I had to go pick up my mom from this place. They're supposed to check out the AC in my car since it's broken. It doesn't blow, anything. So then I had to take her back to her work. Then I decided I would go to Walmart and get a memory card for my PS2. Well they didn't have anything out and it seemed as if all the salespeople were busy so I decided to go to Target. But I didn't see anything for Playstation 2, only Playstation. So I asked one of the salespeople and they had to bring one from the back. So I FINALLY got it and came home.

Then a little while after that I met my sister at Red Robin for dinner. It was nice. Then I made my way to my guitar lesson. But I had to wait in the parking lot for a 1/2 an hour. I almost fell asleep but I couldn't because there's this like drug rehab place over there so I was scurred. Haha. So finally it was time. And since I didn't practice the other song from last week I brought in a CD. It's John Stewart. Very good. I learned "Wheatfield Lady" but Greg said it sounded like "smoking weed and watching cartoons music" I don't exactly what that means, but I told him that it wasn't. Haha...So then soon after I got home I had to get ready to go check out a new batting coach. How exciting. I don't really like meeting new people to coach me and stuff like that. But I've already met/seen him before so it wasn't that bad. I'll be going back next week. Yea, but my dad really likes him so I kinda don't have a choice, but he's not that bad. Um...yeah. So I'm here now. Ugh, I have to get up tomorrow too because I have to take my mom to work. Then I have to go do that volunteer thing at the Corona Public Library for the Summer Reading Program. Whoop de doo Basil. Ciao.

Birthday!

Yay! I'm seventeen! As Cassy says I'll be able to give blood now and see rated R movies. Excellent. Even though it gives me the heebeejeebies thinking about giving blood I think I might actually do it. So today I slept in 'til 3. But then I felt bad because my mom called and Roy called and Audra called to tell me happy birthday, but I wouldn't answer the phone so they left messages. Eh...But it was fine. So then Cassy came over to drop off my present, which was super nice of her. So then later my family went to my grandparents for dinner. It was ok. So my presents so far have been the iPod, PS2, The Meaning of Life, some cool Vans slip-ons with skulls on them, 311's Greatest Hits, and the first season of Monk. Very cool. So I guess that's all for now. Hopefully I'll be able to go out with Melissa A. tomorrow. That'll be fun. See ya!

Hey Hey!

Well this weekend was pretty good. Friday iPod. Excellent. Saturday, games all day! Got to the field about 8:30 am, left about 11:00 pm. Wowza. Yeah, we lost our 3rd game so we were out of the tournament. But today was pretty good. Got up went to dim sum for my birthday. My aunt, cousins, and uncle got me a PS2. Which is cool since my sister took hers to her apartment. Then after that we went to the Apple store. I had to get a USB adapter for my compy. Then we got our makeup done at Aveda for free. Ha, it was cool even though I don't wear makeup. Whatever. So then we went back to my uncle's house. Then we went to Jamba Juice. Which was the best. I ordered a Berry Lime Sublime which tasted just like bug juice. It was the best! Then we came home and I was able to put songs on my iPod. Very very cool. Well tomorrow is my real birthday (yay) so call me or I'll cry. Haha...

Today

I was going to say how today was, but it doesn't matter anymore. Why, because I got my iPod!!! Yesssssss.

It's the coolest thing ever! As I was saying to Nam, even the packaging is cool! Oh yes oh yes oh yes. But I have to wait until tomorrow to start playing with it because I have to wait for it to charge. Oh yes! It's the best!

Well today was allright. Went over to Sammy's. We watched Spiderman and The Mummy. Yep, we're working on the movies I haven't seen because everyone "hates" me for it. Haha, it's just that I don't get out much? I don't know. Anyway, so yea. Then Sammy had to leave because of a dentist appointment. (How fun, no?) Then I came home and chilled and printed out some pictures cuz I found the photo paper I got for Christmas. Neat-o. They look like postcards. So yeah. Then I had to take myself to batting. My dad probably could have gone but he didn't want to. He was away for yesterday and today because of some stupid company meeting or something. So, batting sucked! Ugh, the girl is stoopid! Erg. I kept getting annoyed. I was really, I mean REALLY angry. So I got in the car and while driving home Statesboro Blues came on and I just turned it up and started yellin'. It was nice. At least it calmed me down. I was mad.

Let's see. Today was pretty eventful. I kept waking up because I thought I was going to be late going to Sammy's house, but then it was all retarded. See, my car was ready to be picked up so my mom said she would be home by 12:30, but then she didn't come until 1 so by the time I got to Sammy's it was almost 2. Eh, it doesn't matter cuz we're going to chill tomorrow. So yea, then I had to leave at like 3:20 because I had to get ready cuz I thought I was going to meet my friend before practice. But then it got all confusing so I just drove myself there. Yep.

Well today wasn't that exciting. Let's see, I woke up late. Yea and Sammy wanted to hang out with me. My bad. We'll do it tomorrow though. And then I worked on my college stuff for a while. Then I had guitar then I had to go to this dumb meeting for the Summer Reading Program. I'm only doing it to get community service hours. Hopefully the person I work with isn't a lame-o. Hah. Well tonight I was gonna go to Best Buy with my mommy to get my iPod for my birthday! How exciting! But she was taking too long and Sammy called me and asked if I wanted to come over. So I did. Since I never go any where. Lang and Ayo showed up a little bit later. We just chilled. It was pretty fun(ny). So yeah. I'm pretty tired. I think I might be going to Sammy's tomorrow. Hey and Happy Father's Day!

Well, Barstow was a nice time, not a fun city though. It's boring there! But hey, I had fun. Let's see, we went down on Friday, hung out with Alanna and her parents. It was cool, our rooms were right next door. Then Saturday we had 3 games, 8 am, 11 am, and 2 pm. Oh yeah, it was crazy! This girl on American Pastime 16u got hit in the head with a ball while warming up. Then the paramedics and firemen came, then they thought it might be a really bad injury so they had to call in a helicopter to airlift her to the hospital! Craaaazy...But it turns out the girl is ok. She broke her nose and cheek bone. That's bad, but it could have been worse. So then today, Father's Day, we had 2 games. We lost in the 2nd round of single elimination. To Dynasty! Gahhh!! Well, nothing that exciting has been happening here. Well, I went to the mall with Sammy. That was fun. We bought our dads Fathers Day gifts. Yep, she got her dad a DVD and I bought my dad some CDs. Hopefully he likes them...erg. He's talked about them before so I think it'll be cool. But you never know. Yea, we were at Barnes and Noble and I saw this cool book about barns, but it was $75! Well, it was going to be for my grandpa, but yea...we already got him a flag. So yea...

I have to go to Barstow again this weekend. (yay...) It's going to be HOT! Oh well. It's the state championship, so I hope we do well. Um...Yeah

Well, being on summer vacation totally rocks. Yay! Someone call me up so we can hang out. Yeah. Totally. Anyway, I went to go check out my summer homework books. There's only 4 and they're super heavy! Actually I think it's just the art book, but who's counting. Ha. Sooo yeah. I had guitar tonight. I learned a pretty song called "Love Without Mercy" by Lee Roy Parnell. It's country, so I probably wouldn't download it if I were you. Haha...unless you like country. So yea. I have to go the ortho tomorrow. How exciting. I hope it looks like I've been wearing my retainer, because I haven't. Haha...Yeah, well, I don't want to "get in trouble" cuz, they're sooo annoying. Hey Guys!

Congratulations class of 2004! Oh I'm gonna miss you guys! This reminds me of when my sister graduated. Well I hope everyone is having fun!

Well today was pretty fun. For some strange reason 6th period was before 5th, but that was allright. I got to turn in my last 3 books in, but I have to go check out my books for summer next week. One of the ladies said they would be there from like 7-12 so that's cool. So during 6th I chilled with Nam, Kelly K., and Kelly N. OMG! Did you hear about Nam! Oh my Lord! Thank God he's allright! Ay caramba, poor thing...

Well, I was trying to study for physics but it wasn't working. I didn't feel like it, I just wanted to hang out. So yeah, then the physics finals was kinda hard. Well, there were easy and hard questions so yeah, but Mr. Lum says I'll still get an A even if I do poorly. But then after the final we got to play DDR! Yay! It was fun! So then after school my mom, dad, neighbor, and I left for Vegas (yeah, baby!).

So we cruised around a bit since my neighbor hasn't been there for like 20 years. We were mainly in/around the Bellagio. I took some great shots of the fountain. OMG if you ever go to Las Vegas you have to go see the fountain. It's the most spectacular thing ever! So yeah, we had dinner at the buffet at the Flamingo. It's okay.

Well tomorrow I have that clinic thing or whatever, where the coaches come watch. Yep, hopefully I'm not too nervous. I'll think I'll be allright. Well I best be off to bed. See ya.

Hey-lo!

Whassup!? Well today I got to sleep in a bit. Got up at 10 am. Went to the Orleans, which is right across the street from where we're staying, with my teammate Alanna and her parents. Then my coach and his daughter showed up and we had lunch. So then my coach took me and his daughter to go register/check in with the coaches clinic thing. I guess it went pretty well because my coach and dad said that we "set the standard" and that there were only a few girls who were as good as us, but none better. I don't know, I didn't really feel that way, but whatever. But there was a lot of girls there. Whatever.

So by the time we were done it was 5-ish. Then I got cleaned up and my other teammates Ashley and Brittany showed up at my door. Guess what they said? "I heard you did good at the clinic!" Ha! Frickin' everyone on my team told me that. haha...great. So they said they were gonna go across the street to eat at the buffet. So I went with them because my parents were gonna go out to dinner with my neighbor. So after dinner we went to the arcade and played for about an hour. I won 78 tickets but the guy rounded up to 80. So that was cool. I guess he thought I was cool or something because I was wearing my Super Mario Bros. shirt. He said something about it or whatever. So with my tickets I got a mini deck of cards, a "magic trick" that's broken and not even magic, a Indian chief with a gun, Blue with a cape from Blues Clues, and a little Ninja guy. Haha! So then we walked back to the hotel. Ashley and Amber were right next door to us so they told us to come over and "everyone was coming" which didn't happen. So Brittany and I went over there with our guitars because we planned to play together. So we hung out for a little and Ashley left and never came back! (well, after I left she did). I guess everyone went to Alanna's. So I came back to my room about 10.

Yep, so tomorrow I have to get up like at 5 am because we have to be at the field at 6:45 for our 8 o'clock game. Yep, 3 games tomorrow, but we can muck it up that night because on Sunday our first game isn't until 2. Well see ya.

Hey guys. Well, let's see, yesterday I had to get up at the butt-crack of dawn for an 8 am game. Then we had another right after that. But then we had a break so I went to Sonic with my coach, his daughter, Tiana, Alanna, and her parents. Then we went back to the hotel and hung out for a bit. Then our third game was at 3:30 pm. It was pretty hot +100. So after that we got cleaned up and Jenna, Brittany, her parents, my parents, neighbor and I went to the Flamingo buffet which was better to me than Thursday night. So then we went to see the fountains at the Bellagio. It was cool. They did this weird remix of the Pink Panther theme, but it was still cool. Then they did "All That Jazz" from Chicago. That was frickin' awesome! It was really good! So we came back around 10:30 pm. I felt bad for Alanna because she couldn't come out with us because she got mowed over by some huge girl in the first game. Yeah, so she hurt her knee and can't really walk. So I hung out with her until like midnight because I thought I better go to bed soon. So yeah, I have to get ready and pack so we can check out. See ya soon.

Well last night we had our softball banquet which was pretty crappy. The only decorations were balloons and it was a dessert pot-luck. Hmmm...Not cool. Yes, and there were NO DRINKS! Okay, how are you supposed to eat dessert without a drink. Talk about getting a dry mouth. Anyway, I was awarded! Yay! I am a scholar-athlete, and got a patch for that; I am MVP, hooray!; and I am FIRST TEAM ALL LEAGUE! Yay! I couldn't believe it really. I mean, me, Sara? Wow...and all the coaches in the league vote on that. That's craaaazy! Daaang! Anyway, everyone has been congratulating me, which is nice. I'm pretty modest, but this time I feel like I should share. :-)

So yeah...Today was pretty weird. Well, this year is the first year where they're doing only 2 finals a day. So that means today was a minimum day with 3rd and 4th period. But the weird thing tomorrow is that we have 6th period before 5th. Huh? That's weird. Yep, but Mr. Lum says that he's bringing DDR. Yay! Anyway, so the Grapes of Wrath final was kinda hard. I hope I got a B. Yeah...then the Spanish final was pretty easy except for part 3. So since I had a lot of time left after the final I went to Lum's. Roy got hit by a water balloon and I was stopped by my awesome senior friends. It's sad! I'm going to miss them! I know it sounds all corny, but seriously, they're not going to be there! It's okay, I'm pretty sure we'll keep in touch.

Yeah, so tomorrow we're leaving for Las Vegas. (Awesome!) Yep, we have a showcase. Soooo yeah...I have to finish getting my stuff together. Hmm...I had something else to say, but I guess it's not that important. Eh.

Hey guys! Well this weekend has been pretty hectic. Let's see, Friday night I went to Ontario Mills to find a top to wear to the IB Dinner/Dance. Yep, I got this nice black tank with some lace on it. I was tired though. Then Saturday I got to wake up around 11 am (yay!). But I had to pack for a over night stay in Barstow. We had a tournament there this weekend. We only stayed because we had an 8 pm game Saturday night and a 7:30 am game Sunday morning! Ay caramba! I had to wake up like at 5! I'm sooo not a morning person, unless I'm well rested, but I wasn't. So then I had 3 games on Sunday. Our last one was at 2 pm so I didn't get home until 5:30. And what time did the IB Dinner/Dance start? 5! Okay, so it wasn't that bad that I was late. I wish I could have been there earlier, but hey, softball is the best. Soooo I sat with Sammy and Cassy. All the juniors got a nice little present made by Sammy's mom (Yeah! Sammy's mom! She rocks!) and our 11th grade patch and a chocolate butterfly made by Linville. Yep. The senior part was sad though. Awww...they're graduating...

You know, I never really had any senior friends until this year and now I see why people will miss them. Like Dan Thompson. He's so funny and can make any one shut the hell up. And Kim-bo! She's sooo funny. And people like Peter, Tim, Levi, Natalie, Becky, Steve, and friends who are funny and smart.

Yeah...Then I left about 10 because I was sooo tired. So today was allright I guess. I forgot my yearbook! Unbelievable! Argh. It's okay, I have today. So ToK was allright. We watched this crazy movie called Interstate 60. It's really weird. So at least tomorrow is the last day I have to wake up for that class! (SWEET!) Then in history we reviewed a bit for our final tomorrow. Oh crap, I better print that out. Um, then Mrs. Hiyashibara gave us our summer work. Oh joy, reading 3 books, Beowulf, Brave New World, and Inferno. Then in calculus we did absolutely nothing! It was great. She actually let us talk! I slept a little bit. I'm still tired! I also found out that I got an A in the class. Hooray! So then at snack Cassy told me she was going to find out if Mr. Lum was still with Ms. Carmen. (He's not; that's good because ewwwwwwwwwww! I mean come on! Ewwwwww! Just thinking about, ewwwww!! My eyes!) Then in 3rd we had to take that stupid district final. At least she's not counting our real score, she's just giving us credit for taking it. But we still have the Grapes of Wrath final (boo!). Yeah, I fell asleep after I was done. Mmm...sleep. Then lunch was stupid because Rouman wanted to play Mah Jong, and no one else wanted to, so I had to, but then it was only us two. Then he left, so it was pretty retarded. Then in 4th we watched that crazy movie about the "ice cream suit." Then in 5th I got to chill with Mr. Lum, but he had to spend the whole time telling everyone their grades because they're all grade mongers! Just kidding, not really, it got annoying even for me thought because the same people just coming back ::cough WILL cough:: But he let me ditch 6th. I also got to sleep a little in there too. Yay sleep! Then I came home, but I had to go back to school to see if Mr. Chavira was still there, but NO. dammit. I have to get a frickin' projector tomorrow because we have to watch our video my dad made. It's cool, but now I have to make everyone on the team a copy. (ghey).

So then I went to Lang's to work on history. Not that exciting, but we needed to do the review. Then I came home and Kim came over to give us pictures for the video. But for some stupid reason our scanner will not work! It's retarded and making me upset! I spent almost an hour trying to figure out what the problem was, then my dad came to see if he could fix it, but I know more than he does so it's kinda annoying...ANYWAY something was wrong with the TWAIN driver, but I don't know what. I uninstalled and installed like 3 times. But NOTHING! Oh well, I hope she's not upset nor her mother. Ay yi yi. So I really think I need to go to bed right now, but I have to print that stupid history review and write Ms. Linville and Ms. Y-G a thank you note/letter.

Yeah, also on Saturday our former president Ronald Reagan died. He was president when I was born. Yep. Sad...especially about the alzheimer's. My great-grandma had alzheimer's. I didn't really know her that well thought because she lived back east.

FRIDAY!

Sweet! It's finally Friday. I'm really tired though. But that's allright. Yesterday was pretty good. Well, I kinda woke up late, I didn't leave the house until 6:30 am and when I was driving to school I decided that I didn't feel like going to zero period. TOK is soo boring. So I got my yearbook before anyone I know because I ditched! Then history was kinda boring, I don't remember who presented, but I was studying for math. The test was ok. Only 6 questions. But today's part was hard! Then in LA we heard orals for the Joy Luck Club. Brian's was cool because he played the piano. Spanish, boring. Physics great because Lum never makes me do anything! Ahahah! Yeah, then I thought I lost my calculator, but I left it in physics and Mr. Lum took it so it wouldn't get stolen (yay!). 6th was ghey because they made us do inventory. Blah.

Today, I don't really remember much. Hari was crazy though as Al Capone. I thought we were going to die. Okay, not really, but he was...

Anyway, I'm supposed to go shopping tonight. I need a new batbag because the one I have is TOTALLY falling apart! Well, I've had it for 3-4 years. Yeah, and I need to buy a shirt for the IB dinner dance. Ooo how exciting. And people stop telling me I have to/should dance with Mr. Lum. NOOOOOO. NO NO NO NO NO! Okay, not cool. Come on, that's kinda creepy...

Eh, nothing much happened today. It was really boring and seemed like the longest day. Yea...I can't believe next week is the last week of school. Cra-zy. I'm happy except for the fact that there's finals. Grr. So yeah. I guess everything is cool. I don't know man. I feel weird.

Today was busy!

Well, there were 3 projects due today! The Joy Luck Club Mah Jong party, my Spanish Powerpoint presentation, and the cardboard boat for physics! So everything went pretty well I guess. I don't know man. The boats were the best though. It was really fun. My Spanish presentation sucked. Actually it was just my part that sucked. I got really nervous so I forgot what I meant to say. Ay caramba. Then in language arts it was okay. The Chinese food sucked because it was all cold. Eh...Then Gabe was being a dumbass. He gets mad if I talk about him behind his back but then when I say things to him he just ignores me. He's a whore. I don't know why he's still mad. I know he's gay! He's a homosexual! He's such a girl he can't let things go.

Okay. So then after school Sammy and I went to Starbucks. I tried their new Java Chip frap. It's good I guess. Pretty chippy. Haha...Go check out the pics I took of the boats. moblog
