What do you get when you fall in love?

My games were cancelled yesterday. I don't know why though, because the fields looked fine today. My first game today was a joke. It wasn't even a game. It was stand on the field while the umpires make you lose. I'm not joking. The first inning took 40 minutes...

Uh, yea. So I need to do some work. I seriously need to turn in those dumb library books! Shit. Stupid fines! AND they keep adding up!

I need drink. Gatorade will do. Breakfast of champions you know.

are you bad?

New

Gosh, today was so good. There was no school, Cassy came over and we actually completed our science fair prokect. It looks so cool. And Moneybags! Yesss!

So I'm making a new website. Once I'm done with it I'll share. If you have any ideas tell me so it'll be totally awesome! Yay!

I thought there was more, but no. :-)

"You don't love me baby, you don't love me yes I know..."

So. Today. Dammit! Was okay. Got my math grade up to a B although it took a lot of BSing. Oh well, I need it. Yea, nothing really happened in math. In art we had a final. It was pretty easy. I missed one or two, but I got extra credit so it should be fine. Then after school I went to Slos's to do homework and get my grade up. It was funny though, cuz Big Pete was in there, along with Devon, but Pete was trying to get his grade up. It was funny because they kept complaining. Poor guy, he left with a D. It was dumb though because Slos was going to stay there as long as Pete wanted to. But Devon was funny. He was complaining, and riding the swivel chair around the room crashing into things. Oh man. Football players...

Blah blah blah. It's Gabe's "party" today. I can't go I have practice tonight. Well last night's got cancelled because of the rain. Luckily there is no school tomorrow, but Cassy is coming over so we can work on our science fair project. I'm going to get on track this sememster. I have to. Or else it'll be super super hard. But once softball season starts I should have my weekends free to do work. Erg.

Enough of me. Goodnight.

-I'm A Loser-

So, today was half day and we only had 2 periods. Yep. The physics final was eh, photo was a joke. It was a crossword puzzle! Oh my. Anyway, I have an A in that class and hopefully I'll have one in physics. Erg. I suck at school.

So I don't have practice tonight, but I've been wasting my fucking time. I'm so dumb. Why do I always do this! I need to make up math homework too...$h17! Gosh.

Tuesday, January 25, 2005

Hm

Oh my gosh. Today was the longest school day ever. It seemed like 10 hours long. I'm not joking. 1st and 2nd were 2 hours long. Then we had lunch. Then 3rd period was 40 mintues, then the rest were 20 minutes. Oh my gosh. It was so long. We had no history final though, just the final project. Most likely I'll get full credit. I made a cool poster. I should take pictures of it or scan some of the drawings, cuz they are cool. Then in language arts we had the district final, which was super dumb! It wasn't hard, wasn't easy, just dumb. Then the rest of the day was review.

So I have guitar tonight. And batting. Wow. Hopefully I will be able to stay awake today, er tonight. Well tomorrow is only physics and photo. I just have to remember all the equations and stuff that we've done this semester. Which is a lot. So happy we get a cheat sheet. This makes me think of the IB test, which is going to be fun. I can tell. Two years of physics on one test. Fantastic. Yea, and then there's photo. Which should be a walk in the park. Hopefully. She said that she's going to give us the definition of a photo related word, and then we have to write the name of it, with the correct spelling. Most likely I'll ace that. Besides, she likes me and I have an A now.

Blah blah blah. See you tomorrow.

Well...

Winter Formal was on Saturday. I have no good excuse why I didn't go. I probably should have. Oh well. But I'm definately going to Prom, so don't worry. So the school day was pretty boring. Took a timed write in 2nd. Ugh. I'm not good at writing. I'm dumb! Can't they see? Then I actually have an A in photo now. Finally! I knew I would. It was just a matter of turning everything in. Yay! Yea...finals are coming! C-R-A-P. Oh well, luckily tomorrow is going to be not so hard. I have to finish my poster for my history presentation. I'm sure you will all like them. It'll be awesome, I have this great idea. Anyway. So after school was hilarious in Slosberg's. Hah! My funny friends. Then Brian, Roy, and I went to Starbucks. It was HILarious! "The Flash" and "Superman"...Oh yea, to Roy and Brian, that person that honked at me was my friends. Gosh...hahaha. For serious. They just told me...

I got my ACT scores today. I did waaay better than the SAT. Seriously, I got a 30, which like on the SAT is like a 1340. So that's like so awesome. But I know that other of you geniouses got that score anyway, screw you! Hahahaha, just playing! But that's good for totally not studying. So boo yah.

I also got my acceptance letter from Hendrix! It was cool! There's star confetti in it. And the admissions guy said he liked my guest list for dinner (they ask a question like "Who would be the four people you invite to dinner?"). Totally cool. It was like hand written on there too. That's so neat. I might actually go there. It sounds interesting. The coach sounds really nice too. But we'll see how the other schools go. Eee :-)

Soo, I need to clean my room. And do other stuff! Gosh! :-)

Saturday, January 22, 2005

Eh

So last night I slept for 12 hours. Yep, 5:30 pm to 7:30 am. Hah. Yea, I was tired. I don't know. Do you want to learn to disco?

Friday, January 21, 2005

Gosh

A lot of things have been happening lately. I'm so tired, I've hardly been getting any sleep. There's just too much work to do. Gosh. Also next week is finals week, so that's going to be fun. I seriously need a nap right now. Anyway, does this remind you of some one? http://www.johnnyr.com/images/SYBW2005-01-17.jpg

Tuesday, January 18, 2005

Hmm

Gosh, I do not like having no school on Monday. Why you ask? Because I feel behind, and I feel like I'm being rushed, and I hate being rushed. Also some sad news, we're going to give Maggie away. My dog. Yea...

But on the other side of the spectrum here's some good news. I got accepted to Hendrix College in Arkansas. That doesn't mean I will go there, but there is a good possibility because the coach really wants me to play softball there. Eee.

So today we worked on our dumb history project which should take about a month to complete, but she's making us do it in a week. Basically the project is: take everything you can find about the Mexican Revolution and write an essay, then take everything you know about another war (i.e. World War II, like what she gave us!) and write an essay. Hmm...so two essays in basically a week. Fantastic. In L.A. Yep, good ol' L.A. I seriously need to finish Heart of Darkness...what is wrong with me! Come on Boost Mobile guy, help me! 3rd. Third was third. That's about it. That class used to be so fun. What the hell happened? 4th. Well I'm finally getting into the dark room. I need to finish those dumb prints! Gaaaah...5th. Interesting...we have a test tomorrow. Double fantastic. 6th. Stupid. I hate it. Sarah T. and I were talking about how we hate that class and how we have to pretend we're doing work. Then she has this dumb "law" that you can't talk to anyone you can't touch when doing your work. So that means you have about a 2 person radius...ghey! After school. Was in Slos' class for about 2 hours! Yes really. And I'm still going to fail that test tomorrow. Erg.

Later. Guitar and Batting. Guitar was interesting. He "fixed" my guitar. It's not broken, he just made it easier to play, and it is. Oh yea, for free also. He says the thing he did costs like $45, but it wasn't too complicated. W/e. I got to play his Tele. It was nice. I need to practice my guitar more. It needs to move higher on the priority list. Gosh. (sigh) Such a busy girl...

Monday, January 17, 2005

Monday Monday...

It actually felt like summer today. Then I awoke to the harsh reality of it being January 17...boo! So, I really need to prioritize and focus. Anyway, yea. I watched Willy Wonka twice today. Great movie. I didn't realize how funny it was...oh well. Yep. I don't know what else to say, except go adopt a camel!

Gosh/Weekend in Review

So, yea. Friday was really long and tiring. I had to go to school, then to practice, but without going home. I was gone all freakin' day. School wasn't that great either. Well the classes were fine, it wasn't exciting or something. We did our egg drop project. Falling House of Luck did it's job. 3 outta 4 eggs ain't bad. Later I finally convinced Slosberg to buy a bingo ticket. Yay! Hahaha, I guess he does like me although I do harass him quite a bit. Hmm, well I wouldn't say harass, maybe heckle. Then afterschool we had conditioning in the weight room. But we couldn't start until 3:30. That was fine with me. People were complaining that we should just do running or whatever because standing there waiting was a waste of time. I don't give! Gosh, I like going to the weight room. The stupid under classmen are dumb and never do the full workout! Lazy bums! Gosh! Then all week our coach kept on telling us how there was this important meeting for us to go to after conditioning, blah blah blah. So we go to her room and find out that it's a pizza party. Ooo, given to us by the YMCA, thanking us for adopting those two families. Well, it was really nice. But I had to leave at 4:30 anyway because I had to go to Moreno Valley for practice. Then at practice there's only like half the team there, so that was kind of annoying. But I guess it was good because we haven't done anything for a month because of the rain. Then the drive home was terrible. I was tired so I turned the wrong way twice trying to leave so it took 10 minutes to get to the freeway. Then it took me 30 minutes to get onto the 91. Geez. The interchange between the 60 and 91 is terrible! I was screaming "NOOO!" in my car once I saw it. Seriously. Then when I'm getting off the freeway there's these dumb people aaaghghghgha! Then no one is home because they're all in Irvine celebrating my aunt's birthday. Man. But I got some time to relax. I guess that was good.

Saturday: Had practice. Again. Came home, and again no one was home. It wasn't that bad though. Eh. Parents came back from setting up at bingo. Then left a couple of hours later. Then I went to Sammy's. I was going to call someone to see what they were doing, but I didn't feel like going out, but Sammy called and I thought "what the hell?" so I went. We played some pool. It was a close game. I came back in the end, almost. Then we played some Kareoke Rev. Then Alan and Lang came. Then Adam T came. Started to play some DDR, then Amanda W. came. Ate some barf cookies. I mean peanut butter. I'm just kidding Sammy! I ate them didn't I? Then I came home. Then my dad comes back and gets mad at me. But whatever. I don't care.

Sunday: Was woken up at 5 am because there were games. But we get a phone call, and there's no games because the fields are still messed up. Great. So I go back to bed. Get up at 11. Don't really do anything besides pick up my room. Gosh, then feel bad afterward because I'm not focusing and prioritizing my time. Erg. Then my aunt, uncles, and cousins come over. They're going to go to Ontario Mills with my sister. But then I get invited. Yay. So we went to Miguel's (the real restaurant) for lunch, although I already ate a sandwich. Whatever. It wasn't very good. I've only eat there once before and that was for the team banquet 2 years ago...shows how much I want to go back there...Yea, my sister and I shared a quesadilla. Not very good...So at Ontario Mills I bought 2 CDs, Chris Isaak's "Forever Blue" (which is great! He's so cute...) and the Squrriel Nut Zippers "Perennial Favorites" (haven't listened yet). I really like the SNZippers. They're super good. So yea. That's about it. Haha, my cousin Kevin is so funny. He kept doing the "f you" thing from friends, you know where you hit your two fists together. Haha...So I guess that's all for today.

There's no school tomorrow, yay! But I need to prioritize and do my work. Gosh Boost Mobile guy, I'm trying!

Will wanted me to write about him, so here's a poem:

So Will D. is like a tree,
Stands there, being a jerk*
No not really.

Wow, that was pretty short. There's nothing much else to say, except Chris Isaak is hot, and I like his voice. I should see if his TV show is still on Showtime...

*Reference to tonight's "Simpsons" because Homer says something like "Finally a good use for trees. They always just stand there looking like jerks" Haha...trees looking like jerks...

La

So today was interesting. The timed write wasn't so bad, I got the one I wanted (Zapata). So I hope I did well. Then 2nd did absolutely nothing. Hah. She thought we were working! Then in physics some jr. high kids came to watch us do what we do. We actually played with the Van de Graff. It was cool. Some of the kids were cool, they actually wanted to test it out. Then later it was fun shocking people. Yay! Then in photo I finally developed my pet roll. The negatives are kinda dark, but we'll see what the contact sheet looks like. Then in 5th we did notes on probability. It's crazy. But yea, it'll be cool to understand so then I can make up useless statistics. Ha. 6th we had the test on Greek and Aegean art. It was hard. I think I got a couple of the extra credit questions though, so that's tite. Then way later (8 pm) Adam came over and we built our egg drop. I'll post the pictures soon of "Falling House of Luck." :-)

So I realized that I should be nicer to Sean. Also setting priorities is helping me. Seriously. I don't know why it finally clicked when the Boost Mobile guy said it, but it's been working so far. And I have more than one emotion...

My artbook is due tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I can whack out 10 pages during school. Hopefully. That's what I said last time and didn't. Erg, FOCUS! (and clean off your desk).

Interesting

Today was pretty interesting. 3rd period was first. Not too bad. We had a test. Eh. The assembly sucked except for the break dance team. w/e. Also there's a million people on Winter Formal Court, but who's counting. jk jk. So eleven minute periods weren't all that bad. The classes we did the most in were history, art, and math. Isn't it funny how history and art are taught by the same teacher? No.

So after conditioning I finally got to eat my chicken sandwich. Gosh. It wasn't gross. I didn't get home until about 3 pm. Then I checked my email, and stuff, then took a 2 hour nap. Woke up ate dinner, went to the IB meeting. The CEO of Boost Mobile spoke to us about time management. Very interesting. His advice is to be focused and prioritize. I'm trying. It's hard. It was funny he gave out some merch to people who answered questions. Too bad I didn't get called on. But Rouman did. Haha, he got a hat. And Tahir and Jai (Jay? w/e Kajal's brother) both got the girls' shirts. Haha, funny funny. So yea.

So why does it have to be 1 am? Everyone is trying to study for the random timed write tomorrow. Well, random question. Luckily there aren't 2 art questions. Hah.

So. Peace.

Wednesday, January 12, 2005

HA!

Okay I TOTALLY WIN! Don't let anyone tell you they heard "Don't Give Up On Me" first and then tell you that it's cool because I already have about 3 million times. So when you see it on the O.C. this week, you know that I knew it and that I'm so cool because I already know how to play it. And no, I won't teach you. :-p

So this person's school is int he Ventura flood plane...lovely.
Dang!

It has been raining like crazy! Gosh. The golf course by my house (sorta) is flooded! It looks like a river. Then this morning, that one 3 way stop street that runs parallel to Via Pacifica was flooded this morning, and then the Corona Airport was flooded today so they closed off Smith and parked the planes out there, and the horse ranch in my back yard has a brook running through it now. Geez! And then I didn't have batting tonight because my coach works for the phone company and is working to put up and fix the lines that are down! Crazy!

So tomorrow is going to be interesting. It's a minimum day and assembly schedule. Soooo that means that every class beside 3rd is going to be about 11 minutes long. Hah. And it seems that I don't have practice tomorrow, so the perfect opportunity to get my work done. Yes, but because 3rd is so long tomorrow Mr. Lum decided to change the test to tomorrow. But too bad yesterday he said (and I quote) "Regardless of what the schedule is like tomorrow, we're going to have the test on Thursday." It don't matta. That's because there's going to be that dumb history timed write on Thursday. It's especially sucky because there are 6 topics that we have to know and understand and then give them to us randomly to write about. :-| So hopefully I can get everything done that I plan to have done. Especially considering I just fell asleep last night and did nothing! Too bad I woke up from my nap and got up, but didn't do anything but fall back asleep again until like 6 this morning. What--ever--

Sunday, January 09, 2005

Ugh

It's been raining. I didn't get a new bat. I think I have to order it online, yea, and I couldn't find the batting gloves I like. Boo. But I did get new cleats for my cleats, and some new practice shorts. Yay. Umm yea, so last night I went to this surprise party for a girl on my team. It wasn't that great. I only knew the people that play softball, and their selected family members. It was okay. We played pool, and ping pong for a while, danced a bit. Yea, I don't know. Eh. And then all the parents that know me were saying "You're not going to drive home are you?" Well, I was planning on it, but because they were all freaking out I stayed the night at my friend Alanna's house. Yea. We went to In-n-Out, to get shakes because no ice cream shop was open at midnight, and Al introduced me to "animal style" fries. They were excellent. Yes, then we watched Mask of Zorro. You know where Antonio Banderas looks super hot. Haha...So for Christmas Alanna bought me a cell phone cover with skulls on it, and a hot hot hot picture of Robert Redford and Paul Newman. Similar to this, except mine is black and white. Yes, it's nice. I need a frame. Oooo. Cha.

I have to do work now. But I'm super tired. Argggg. I'm screwed because I need to do the Hamlet essay, derivitives (because I haven't turned in the last 5 assignments), study for that dumb timed write in history, and finish Heart of Darkness. At least she didn't have a timed write. Go-osh. (pronounced: GO-awe-shh). Tear.

Saturday, January 08, 2005

Rain

I don't remember what has happened since Tuesday. I really f*ed up on my history IA, but it's not the FINAL final one. Gosh I'm dumb. And also I need to pick up my math IA. Slos has been gone, which is fun because we actually are working on the packet, but we can joke around and stuff.

So my dog is sick. She's at the vet right now, they're watching her. Erg. She's okay I think, just ill. Yea, we watched the Pink Panther today and Hero. I want some sleep. Hopefully I can go buy a new bat tomorrow. See ya.

Tuesday, January 04, 2005

Hah

Today was pretty funny. It all started with this. So then nothing was really exciting/funny until 5th. We had a timed write on Hamlet, type 2 question, and have the style analysis tomorrow. Joy, 2 back to back, but it's okay with me cuz I'm not done with Heart of Darkness yet. Then lunch. Gosh, there was supposed to be a Lit Mag meeting, but I guess our advisor wasn't here today, so there was nothing. And someone parked in my spot today. what the hell. Gosh. Especially since I was running late. Geez. Uh, so yea. I have Turner some ribs. Haha, funny stuff. Math was hilarious. We had a sub again and Roy, Ayo, and Bob came to work at Adam and my table. Haha, we just kept mis-hearing each other, so of course hilarity ensued. Then art was cool. Zierer did this excercise with us where she plays music, and then we're supposed to draw what we feel with non-representational art. It was pretty cool. Adam kept trying to guess the band, but he was wrong every time. Hopefully we can do it again tomorrow after notes. (boo notes). So then after school I'm supposed to go to conditioning. Normally in the weight room on Tuesdays. So I get dressed out, walk by the weight room, and there's boys in there. And my coach gets pissed when there's other people in there, so I figured they weren't up there. Then it looked like the PAC was closed, and Michelle told me that no one was down there. So I check her room and like every where twice. No one is to be found. I don't even see any girls waiting for their rides. wth. chilled. So I left.

So I had guitar and batting. Learning this cool song called "Don't Give Up On Me" by Solomon Burke...
If I fall short,
If I don't make the grade,
If your expectations aren't met in me today
There's always tomorrow,
Or tomorrow night.
Hang in there baby,
sooner or later I know I'll get it right,
Please don't give up on me,
Oh please don't give up on me.
I know it's late, late in the game,
But my feelings, my true feelings
haven't changed.
Here in my heart,
I know I know I was wrong,
Wrong wrong wrong wrong,
I'd like to make amends for the love
That I've never ever eveer ever shown.
Just don't give up on me,
Every word is true.
I'll give you my everything,
all of my love, all of my love,
all of my love love love love to you.
Just don't give up on me.
Oh please please please don't give up on me,
I, I, I don't want you to.
I know it's late, but wait,
Please please please please,
Don't give up on me.
Promise, will you promise me,
Will you promise?
Please don't give up o me,
We can make it if we try.
I'm gonna hold on, hold on with me
So don't give up on me.
Ohhh...baby,
Oh baby, oh baby, please don't give up on me
What ever you do,
We gonna make it, we'll make it through.
Don't you give up on me,
Please please please,promise me,
Don't give up on me.

Soooo

Back to school today. It wasn't that bad, but I know it's going to get worse, so I have that to look forward to.

It rained until 3rd. It wasn't bad. I like it. So, it was funny because Zierer tried to show us slides, but it was waaay too dark in the class room to write, but she made us take notes anyway. It was funny. Then thank the Lord because Haya... didn't give us the timed write, even thought it was written on the board (whew!). Then 3rd was somewhat disappointing, but I still had a good time. Cassy is so funny. Anyway, 4th blows because I can't expose a print for the right time! Then 5th was good cuz The Slos wasn't there. 6th was okay, I actually got my 20 pages done. What Sara got her 20 pages done? No. Well I did. Now all I have to do is catch up for next week. Yea then to add to the better than normal day, there was no conditioning! Yay!

So after I got home my mom and I went to Walmart and Henry's. So at Walmart they had "Nemo" watches. But they didn't even look like Nemo. It was an orange fish. Haha, so then I said to my mom "these are like the toys they make in Tiajuana." Then I could not stop laughing. But I was talking about the pinatas and stuff. Cuz they make them look like a known character, but it doesn't really look like it, you know. What ever. So then at Henry's, wow, what an experience. It was scary because I had never been in a grocery store like that. But it was fine. I'll go there again and buy health nut stuff. I got some Burt's Bees lip gloss. They make good stuff. You'll probably see me wearing it tomorrow. :)

Peace out chillins.
