[-Week From Hell-]

Well, let's see what has happened. Memorial Day weekend was allright I suppose. We had this tournament (took 2nd place by the way) but I didn't get a chance to do my homework. Yes, and I also got this huge ass bruise on my shin. Not pleasant. Tuesday morning I woke up at 3 am to do my homework. Sucked ass. Around 6 am I looked outside and it was sunny! I was pissed off. I don't know why, I just didn't want it to be sunny. Yea, my dad walked out and said "Good morning" and I thought "this is it, I'm going to my room." I did get my protocol done though. *Yay* Yes, the protocol for our dumb-ass lab final for chemistry. Every pair gets an unknown sample and they have to try and figure out what it is. Currently I believe mine is NaCO3, or NaHCO3 (aka soda ash/baking soda). I still have to do more research to see. My lab partner is not a very good one (Allen B.). I didn't know when I signed up with him he wasn't really gonna work. One time he just left and didn't tell me where he was going. Dude. Ok, yea, and he keeps telling me we're gonna work on it online and he never does. Ok, whatever. Um so that's been a hassle. Then on Wednesday I had to present my report on Czechoslovakia. Niiiiiice (Czechs rule!). But I had to stay up until 3 am on Wednesday morning. So I was up for 24 hours. Isn't that nice? But I did a good job on my presentation, Mrs. Garabedian was pleased. (Hooray for me!) Then during chemistry I burnt my hand!! I was trying to see if this thing had a low melting point, it doesn't. I took it off the burner and set it on the table. This was near the end of the period so Beach kept telling us to clean up. I walked away for a minute and Beach said "Clean up!" again so I looked at the crucible and thought "Oh, I better put this away" and ouch! Burning, burning. I didn't want to cause a commotion so I just set it back on the table. Then Seth said something like "Is that hot?" (sarcasticly, but in a nice way) then told me to put my hand under some water. SO I had to put things away with my one hand. Then I left and went to the trainer to get some ice. Then I started to have a slight panic attack. Well, I have never burnt myself before, unlike my sister, and then the lab was making me stressed out. So I had to lay down on the grass for a couple of minutes. Damn the man. But I got to rest from my 40 hour day ::smile:: I took a nap, played online, ect. Today was ok. Not much homework. We have the dumb sub in Spanish again. Mrs. Myerly is at her sister-in-law's wedding. I dislike the sub and her the same. They both are dumb. Heh, that's a good way to settle it. So now I'm trying to find out what my mystery substance is. Joy.

The good things of this week: guitar, I wore my new zebra converse!, no practice Wednesday night, not that much homework, Nam!! Nam is such a great friend. He's great. I like most of his Nam-isms. I understand them. Some just don't make sense at all. But Nam Rocks (her). Haha, inside joke. I guess that's all for now. Next week will be better I hope. But I still gotta do that links essay. Damn, but I'm sure my topic is great. Oh yes. Nam you better get working. Oh, I love blues music. I used to not, but I do a lot now. Hmm, and country stuff. Yep, I just love great music. I always find it funny how the blues sounds so much better at school...

[-What is wrong?-]

Something is wrong with me. I don't feel like my normal self. Anyway, I got to practice my guitar. Like 2 ½ hours baby! Yessss. But now my fingers hurt a bit, but hey, it's worth it. No pain, no gain. That's what Di's dad always says. I have to start bringing in my fourth finger more so it can get stronger. But I'm doing pretty well I guess. Let's see. Ugh, I want my mom to come home. It sucks. My dad is sorta boring. Oh well. People liked my new clothes today. Awww yeah! Hehe, I looked smashing. It was pretty hot today. Like 90°. Summer is coming! Yay! Yep. I guess that's about it. Peace.

[-My Weekend in Review-]

Well, let's see Friday- Went down to Irvine. Everyone was there, but then my Uncle Carlos left before we started eating, which is retarded. I had fun though. Oh yea, my mom, sister, and I went shopping. I actually bought nice clothing. Hehe, I even bought a dress. (WHAT!? you say? yes, it is true, I actually bought a dress. What has the world come to? hehe). So I'll look gooooooood this week. Then when we came home I layed down on the couch and konked out. Um, yea...
Saturday- Got up pretty early after I just fell asleep on the couch so we could go get my perscription for my contacts. Yea, ran some errands with my mom, came home. Hung out waiting for my aunt and cousins to come. Played SC with Will, and some Literati. Had ribs for dinner, with bok choi, baked potatoes, and barbequed onions. MMmmmMmmm Good. I got my nails done (pink!). They left pretty early, 9/9:30. Practice my guitar a little bit. Went to bed about 12:30 am.
Sunday- Had practice in the morning. (boo). I didn't feel like practicing today, I was like "blah." Eh, oh well. I still did pretty well. Came home, had fish sticks for lunch. Cleaned up my messy, messy room. Did homework, ate dinner, did more homework. Watched the Simpsons, came out here to do Spanish hw. That's about it.

My mom left for Texas this morning. I don't know why she has to go. You know, they could just hire a temp. ARGH. I miss her. It's just me and my dad. Oh joy. Not that he's bad or anything, he just gets weird sometimes. Heh. See ya later.

[-Quizzes!-]

I got bored, so I did all these quizzes.

You are the most universal mythical beast ever. Sightings of the unicorn have been reported from all over the world, even in modern times. Unicorns are pure and incorruptible. In China, unicorns symbolized gentleness, good will, and wisdom. Christianity links the unicorn with Christ. It is said that unicorns would only allow virgin girls to see them, let alone touch them. They were easily lured into fatal ambushes by a virgin with some poachers waiting for the unicorn in nearby bushes. A unicorn's horn was a highly prized possession, which was reputed to have great healing capabilities. With the touch of its horn, a unicorn could bring back a person who had been dead for several hours. But when separated from the unicorn's body, the magic was significantly reduced. The unicorn had the body of a horse, a unique spiraling horn, and a lion's tail. They were pure white in color.

What mythical beast best represents you? Take the quiz!

You are the Marquis Da Sade. Even stripped of exaggerations, Your real life was as dramatic and as tragic as a cautionary tale. Born to an ancient and noble house, you were married (against your wishes) to a middle-class heiress for money, caused scandals with prostitutes and with your sister-in-law, thus enraging your mother-in-law, who had you imprisoned under a lettre de cachet for 14 years until the Revolution freed you. Amphibian, protean, charming, you became a Revolutionary, miraculously escaping the guillotine during the Terror, only to be arrested later for publishing your erotic novels. You spent your final 12 years in the insane asylum at Charenton, where you caused another scandal by directing plays using inmates and professional actors. You died there in 1814, virtually in the arms of your teenage mistress.
You are a revolutionary deviant. I applaud you.

[-Friday Fives-]

Ok, my bad for not doing last week's. Anyway, here's last week and this week, first last week:
1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not?
Yea, pretty much. Sometimes I get unorganized and then I can't function correctly, so then I have to go organize.

2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly?
Yes. I use it all the time. I have to write things down or I'l forget.

3. Would you say your desk is organized right now?
No, it's a mess.

4. Do you alphabetize CDs, books, and DVDs, or does it not matter?
It doesn't really matter. If I had time I would probably do it.

5. What's the hardest thing you've ever had to organize?
Ooo, good question. Probably my mom's jewelry because it was messed up.

This week:
1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Bottled.

2. What are your favourite flavor of chips?
Probably ranch.

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
Probably mein-mein (aka Top Raman).

4. How do you have your eggs?
Sunny-side up or scrambled.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
My mom (tonight's dinner). It was good. Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy. It's all good.

[-It's Finally Over!-]

Yay! High school season is over! w00t! We played Santiago today, they're good I suppose, but we're good too. It's just that we can never get it all together. Oh well. Um, yea, so I'm happy. It's gonna start to suck though because I'll have practice on Wednesday nights. Damn. But other wise it's cool. It was funny on the bus ride though. See, we had this old lady who looked like she came out of the 50's. Well anyway, they were doing what they normally do, you know screw around and be loud, and the lady got soo mad. Haha! So when she said something that just made them want to provoke her even more. Oh, hillarious. Santiago is only up the street from our school. Dude, she sucked. But it was funny. It was sorta sad because it's Lauren and Amanda's last game. I think I'll miss Amanda more. She's funny and nice, and Lauren and I sorta had this competition between us so we were never really "cool" with each other. Our banquet is on the 5th (of June). When school is almost out. Dude, Audra is my friend. She's cool. She said she might go to La Sierra, but probably not. That's because our coach is somewhat of a dimwit. Well, she lied to me (that bastard) and other people. She obviously played favorites, you know. And Audra is a good player, she's not giving her the respect she deserves. So I'd be really sad if she left. I was telling her no. But we'll see. I mean, it's our coach's first year coaching, she didn't do a lot of things right. Oh well, enough of that because IT'S OVER! YAY!

School was allright. We had a math test. I hope I did allright. Yea, I woke up about 2 am and studied. It really helped that the radio station I listen to (Arrow 93.1) was playing good music that actually kept me awake. I got lucky this time. Well, sometimes I plan to get up and I never do. So I think I did pretty well. Let's hope I keep my A- an A- still, or raise it, but I'm not that confident. We'll see tomorrow. Hehe, I got like 12 fortunes today. That's because whenever someone has a fortune cookie I want the fortune (I need all the luck I can get :-) ). And for the Good Earth presentations Adam R. brought fortune cookies. We've been watching this interesting movie in Euro. It's Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna. It's pretty interesting. Dude, I love Erich! Aww man...Though some of the stuff he does is corny I still think it's sweet. Muah!

The Happenings Notebook only has one more page left! Yay! Well, actually there's 2 but on that last page we're going to have our favorite moments from the year. Then I'll bring in the new yellow notebook, which will be Volume II. Allrighhh. I guess that's all.
I have weird dreams. :-)

[-Listen-]

Hey all. Got back from the team dinner about a half hour ago. It was at Bre's house. It was fun. We had carneasada and polloasada. It was good, but not as good as my dad's :-) Yea, her dad was trying to tell me it was the best...whatever. Hehe. Yea, we walked around the neighborhood to go give this guy (Emilio I think, some guy Sam likes, or likes Sam, I really don't know the whole story, anyway) food. He wasn't there, so we dropped it off. Then these guys drove by and they were yelling out the window to us. Bre knew where they were going and we went over there. They played us a couple of songs, but they wouldn't keep the garage open because the last time it was open the cops came or something. Yea, they were pretty good, but the singer sucked! He didn't have a very good voice and it seemed he was in the wrong key. But what do I know? Then we went back and hung out.

Tomorrow is our last game! Yay! It's cool, but we're away and against Santiago. Great, just great. Let me mind you that they've won our league like the past 2 or 3 years. We haven't won league since 1996. Yea, well we keep getting new coaches all the time. None of them ever want to stay. Oh well, I think this one will. So today's practice was easy as heck. We played over-the-line and the "bucket game" then we took some infield and that was it. I can't wait, 'cuz then I can stop lugging all my shit to school. Yesssss. I guess that's all. School was allright. We had to present our thing on gender roles for the Good Earth. It was good I guess. Stupid f**king Alan Green. Dude, I swear. Why does he always try to bring us down. Ok, he asks us "How do you even know there are gender roles?" Um ok, then the next person says, "Making babies" Ohhhhhhhh yeeeeaaaahhh!!!! IN your FACE motha fucka! GD it!! He's a frickin' retard. He's just jealous he didn't come up with it. He's mad because I like better music than him. You know, I hate people who like classic rock and stuff like that for the novelty of it. They don't actually like the music. They say they do, but they really don't. It makes me mad. Whatever. I'll stop being pissed off. That's all I've done today is be pissed off. I don't think I really showed it, but I was mad. I think it started last night when my mom wouldn't go to Kinko's. Dude, I told her what I needed and she said okay. But after she was done watching her show she said something like "Oh, I thought you needed more than one page copied" Um NO! I just showed you what I needed. ARGH!!!! I don't know why that's making me so mad. Get over it! Ok, I'm cool. See you later.

[-I would Iike to shoot something right now-]

No, that's not a threat. Ok, well anyway, I'm pissed off and I semi- don't know why. I know something has to do with the fact that I wanted my mom to go to Kinko's to make copies of this page for me. I told her I was only going to need 40 copies of this one page and she said ok. But when the time comes for her to go do it, she says that she thought it was more than one page, and that I should just print out 40 because she'll buy me a new printer cartridge. Dude, she said she would go, and then on top of that, she just got through talking with me about how it's okay for me to ask her to buy things and that I shouldn't feel bad when I want them to buy something. Well...GO MAKE ME COPIES!!! So I had to print out 40 of these stupid ass handouts for Manley's class. Ugh, I hate him. He's soo retarded. Anyway, Sammy and Roy came over so we could work on the project. It was pretty funny. I was showing Roy all my cool wallpapers for my desktop and some other pics I downloaded. Totally cool. I can't believe it's almost 11:30 already. That's about all for today. Guitar was fun, and our season is almost over! Ciao.

[-I'm Tired-]

Hey everyone, I'm tired. Nice to meet you. Hehe. What's up? Nothing much over here. I'm excited that our HS season is almost over. I just don't like playing. That's because I'm not getting much playing time, although I am the better player, which is a little retarded don't you think? But anyway, yea, Thursday is the last day! Yaya! Let's see, what happened today. Well, there's a Spanish test tomorrow, hopefully I don't fail too badly. See, I always think I'm gonna do good but I don't. I guess I'm not studying correctly. It's probably because I'm unhappy with my travel team. I don't know, I miss my old team. It's not the same. I miss them a lot. Anyway, I need to bring my grade up A LOT in that class. Dude, I almost have a C which is unbelievable because Spanish is like the easiest class ever. But I hate it. That's probably why I do bad. I just don't want to do it. Then next year I have to take AP Spanish. I'm not sure if I'll take the test though...Stupid native speakers get the advantage, which is not really fair. We don't even have an advantage on the English language arts part. What the heck. Oh well, "you can't always get what you want." Um...yea. Roy wasn't here today. He moved to Riverside (boo!). But he's still going to our school, which is cool. Um, yea, so we sorta needed him at school today, but nooo he couldn't find his backpack or clothes so he helped move. Isn't that exciting. I think that's all.

Guitar tomorrow! Yay! Hopefully Greg won't feel shitty. Aww shit. I didn't practice tonight. I'll go do it right now, and finish my math homework. Well, I was going to do it, then Sammy decided to come over. Dammit Sammy! It's all your fault (just kidding!). Eh, so I'll see you later.

Saturday, May 10, 2003

[-Hey Everyone-]

Nothing that exciting going on here. The AP test was crap. I hope I at least got a 3. Um...Yea. My parents bought me the coolest Converse! Go see them! I had games today for my HS team. We won, so we won the consolation bracket. Well, we lost our first game and that was against like the best team there. So we did good. Our season is almost over, finally! Gosh, I'm getting tired of it. Thursday is our last day. Woo! Sorry for not writing for like a week, but I really needed to study, but I don't think it helped that much. Damn I suck. Anyway I don't really have much to say today, so I'll write more this week. I promise. :-) hugs

[-La La La-]

Sorry I haven't written in a long time. I've been worried about this AP test. It's today. I stayed home this morning because I didn't feel like going to school because it would make me tired. Some people went out for breakfast, but I didn't want to go. I'd rather stay home and chill. I don't remember what's been going on. I'll write later. Gotta study some more. Not too, much though, I think I'm screwed on the essays. The multiple choice will be okay, I think. Anyway, wish me luck. Peace out.

[-It's May-]

Hey everyone, May started yesterday. Woohoo!! But that's besides the point. Let's see, the last time I wrote was last Monday. Anyway, let's see what has happened since then. Well, Saturday we had a varsity tournament in El Segundo. We lost the first game and won the second. I got to play, that's because the other third baseman's fingernail got ripped off. And it was REALLY gross! So she's been out for this past week. Sunday I was sick. You know with that thing everyone is getting. Um, Monday wasn't that great ('cause I don't remember, hehe). Tuesday was cool. There was this IB thing and guitar was fun. Wednesday, I had the team dinner at my house. It was fun. We had hamburgers and hot dogs, and my mom made potato and macarroni salad. It was fun, my team is really funny. None of them are really IB kids so it's a totally different environment. Every liked the Enchanted Forest (aka my backyard). Valerie like wants to camp out there. Hehe, yea, Crista had a great time catching fish. Kim was disappointed that she missed it. She had to work, which is gay because she told them that she couldn't work on Wednesdays but they made her anyways. Then Thursday was cool. I guess I was sorta in a slight depression because softball hasn't really been going the way I want it to. It's fun and all, but we weren't winning and shit like that. But we finally came together and played like we all know how. We played 11 innings against Corona and we really should have won that game. They got lucky like four times. Freakin'...Ok then today:

Well, this week has been really tiring and it caught up with me today. I almost fell asleep 20 times. I'm not exaggerating this time. It was mainly in math, I was trying sooo hard to stay awake. That's like important stuff and I need to know it. But yea, then at snack I saw Tim and he said "Hey look there's Sara and other people" but since I was practically asleep I didn't hear what he said and he gave me a hard time later on. Yea, then, yea. Gabriel is an idiot. Ok he says that all women/girls have bisexual feelings. Or something like that. He's such a fucking moron. UGH!! He doesn't even know. Him and his stupid fantasies and just makes all this shit up which is not funny or true at all. Then he said he read that in Maxim. Ok yea, that's a magazine for frickin' guys, okay. So of course they would put stupid shit like that in that magazine. He's sooooooooooooo DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kim is soooo funny because she makes fun of him all the time and rightly so. Frickin' A. Sorry for that anger, but if you met him, you would feel the same way. So I went to the AP review after school. Tim is letting me borrow his Princeton Review which is cool because everyone says it's better. Then I just got back from the team dinner at Lauren's (the girl with the bum thumb). Yea, but people kept going to Amanda's house because they just live right across the street from each other. Hehe, yea and Desire kept saying dumb things about being a team. Ok, it's not like we left her alone. Anyway, the 2nd weekend of the El Segundo tournament is tomorrow, but I'm going to miss it because I'm taking the practice AP Test. Yea, I'll probably make it to the second game but it might rain. I feel bad for Audra now because she's finally going to get to play and it might rain! I guess that's all for now. I had this dream with Simon from American Idol in it, but I'm not going to tell you how it goes...Muahaha. Friday Five:

1. Name one song you hate to admit you like.
Anything by the Bee Gee's.

2. Name two songs that always make you cry.
I Can't Make You Love Me - Bonnie Raitt, I don't know. There really aren't any songs that make me cry. That one doesn't even make me cry, it's just sad. Or how about Hey Mister That's Me Up On the Jukebox - Linda Rondstat

3. Name three songs that turn you on.
Long Afternoons - Jerry Jeff Walker, Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company, Blue Sky - Allman Brothers.

4. Name four songs that always make you feel good.
Little Martha - Allman Brother's Band, Don't it Make You Wanna Dance? - Jerry Jeff, Mary Had A Little Lamb - Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hoochie Coochie Man - Eric Clapton

5. Name five songs you couldn't ever do without.
There's too many that I love!
